OpenSOlaris xVM network architecture

The IO domain networking architecture in the OpenSolaris xVM
implementation differs significant from that of the reference
implementation, being designed to take advantage of ongoing
developments in NIC device technology and the framework designed to
support such NICs in OpenSolaris.
  
This presentation will give an overview of the xVM network
architecture and its implementation and interaction with the
underlying framework. We also discuss the current state of the
implementation, it's performance and feature set, and describe area
planned for further investigation.
