Daniel Berrange Red Hat Directions for development & integration of Xen and QEMU ****** The Xen stack uses QEMU to provide a device model for HVM guests. This results in a divergance of capabilities between paravirt and fullyvirt guests & duplication of implementations. The pair of VNC servers is one example. This talk will illustrate ways in which QEMU can be used & extended to close the gap between HVM and paravirt guests. It will also illustrate how to use QEMU to launch Xen guests directly without any management tools.
